Don't take it personally, Mike. There appears to be a substantial body
of evidence that the K&N design used for the street is less effective
than the stock paper filter (per recent threads) and this was only
posted for the edification of listers, especially those participating in
that discussion. I have them on my 65 911, although I'm actively looking
for a stock air filter housing. I rarely condemn anyone for their choice
of optional equipment, except of course for those stupid blue headlight
bulbs. John
