long distance purchases

My $0.02:

All depends on the area you live in...the
northeasterners (of the US) on the list probably have
the widest selection.  Those living in the SE US don't
have it so good.  To wit:

One day while bored at the salt mine, I decided to
look up how many Audi dealers there were in a 75 mile
radius of Atlanta, GA.  Just 3, 2 belonging to the
same owner.

By comparison, Boston had almost a dozen!  Not too
different in population, either, though there are more
distinct metro areas within 75 miles Boston (counting
places like Providence).
