When I labeled my harness and associated bits I used the tags that you
attach with the miniature versions of zip ties.. available at office supply
stores.  It worked well because most of the stuff was outside for a while so
I didn't want the labels to smudge/get destroyed by water.  Although I think
one of those label printers would work even better...
