Difference between Blisteins - Koni Red - Boge Turbogas on a 5ktq ?

IMHO,
Comparing shocks on a VW application and extrapolating
that experience to a 5ktq is completely wrong.

I know several people w/ Bilstein and Koni setups in
their VWs and they do not compare to what is available on
the 5ktq. A good friend had an A2 Jetta GLI 16v w/ Bilstein
Sports and Neuspeed lowering springs. Talk about stiff. The
ride was very stiff, the car wanted to hop on short stutter
bumps, but it cornered like it was on rails. Same owner now
has the full Neuspeed setup on his VR6 Jetta- upper strut
bar, front and rear sway bars, Bilstein Sport w/ lowering
springs. Ultra stiff, very little suspension compliance,
makes the car into a virtual rattlebox. At the very limit
of what I consider to be bearable, with the 40 series tires
not helping one bit.

On the other hand, I have a 5ktq w/ Bilstein Sport shocks,
OEM springs and 55 series SP9ks and I think the car has
a nice balance of handling and ride, although it is biased
toward handling. You cannot call my car stiff riding unless
you have a preference for Cadillacs and Lincolns.
