Grinding sound need help

Folks

Well here is the problem. The car(87 4kcsq) is making
a hollow grinding sound from the front. Only happens
(or is most noticeable)during low speed <40mph.
Doesn't matter if I'm going forward or backing up.
Gets louder the slower I go. So far I've pulled all 4
wheels and verfified that none of the brakes were
dragging. All 4 calipers also move freely on their
pins. Applying the brake while moving does nothing to
affect the sound. Turning right or left also has no
affect on the sound. Any suggestions, possible wheel
bearing?
