side markers as turn signals on CGT

You better believe I have relays mounted under my hood for the E-Code
headlights I bought. That was something that all Audi's should have done to
the.
With regards to the marker lamps, I certainly will implement your wiring
advice, which is the same advice Ti Kan gave me. I see this as the simplest
and most effective remedy for my situation.
Thanks for the help,

addition of relays and a fairly significant rewiring effort. If you don't
already have relays for your headlights then you also have to worry about a
place to mount relays so that they will be protected from the underhood
environment ...

is to simply cut the brown ground wire for the side marker light, and attach
it to the "hot" wire for the nearby turn signal. I don't know what the
color of this wire is on your car, but either a voltmeter or wiring diagram
should get it for you.

... suffice it to say that it takes advantage of the fact that bright turn
signal, headlight and brake light filaments have a lot less resistance than
the small cornering lamp bulb. By doing this mod you will notice the marker
light will flash in phase with the signals when the headlights are off, and
out of phase with the signals when the headlights are on.
