Adjustable wastegates

Just a word of advice to all who venture into the land of "more boost."
CHECK YOUR HOSE CLAMPS!
I had tightened all of mine when I pulled the motor a few months ago till the 
clamps almost snapped, because I had one blow off a car about ten years ago.
Last night after spending about 30 minutes on my back in a restaurant parking 
lot reattaching the turbo to IC hose, I went home and double clamped 
everything.
Not what I call "tidings of comfort and joy." I am somewhat grateful. At 
least the temperatures were not the subzero stuff of the last week.
