re. Splitting the IM on an '89 100q

Thanks to Huw, Tom and Ben for the tips.
I had thought of the trick with the 1/4 allen wrench,
but did not have to resort to it since the two I tried
did come loose with the 6mm. That is, there was no
slippage of the wrench, just that the bolt apparently
popped loose, but then was not really loose.
I will try getting to the threaded ends with some
liquid wrench and see if that helps. As I recall, the
threaded ends of the bolts actually do protrude from
the bottom half of the IM. Sort of against gravity,
but Ill try to direct the spray up.
