REAL WINTER, tires

Just saw some discussion on winter tires and thought I would put my two
cents in.
Out here in Bozeman, Montana, the ground has been covered in snow since
early November. I recently put on a set of Blizzak WS-50 on my 84 4ksq.
It is amazing how well these tires work. They drive well on the freeway,
took them on a 1400 mile trip to Seattle and back, no complaints.
They are classified as studless snow tires, but it sure feels like they
have studs, as far as traction is concerned. Noise wise, I don't notice
much difference from my continentials, they are pretty quiet.
If you happen to be in an area that gets snowed in more than twice a year
and want the security of having some of the best snow tires around I would
recommend the Blizzaks, I really enjoy them.
Thanks
