87 4kCSQ: where is my thermo-time switch???

I am having trouble locating my thermo-time switch.  I have this cold
start problem and I have found out that the cold start valve is not
getting power.  I cannot find the thermo time switch.  The sensors
on the front coolant hose flange seem to be for the CIS-E controller 
and the coolant fan/wemperature gauge.  This I figured by both measuring 
(+ checking coninuity to the cold start valve) and wire colors as 
per Bentley.  Those sensors seem OK and within what I gather to be the
spec.  But, huh???  Where did they hide this d**n thermo time switch?

This is for a 1987 4000CSQ.
