'80's audi door handle question

So, the cross-section shape of the keys must be the same.  I 
know "they" change that from time to time.

That's pretty cool.  I was/am planning to shave the rear door 
handles on my 4kstq project.  I'd like the fronts to be slicker, so I 
may want to do this.  I think I'd prefer an all metal conversion tho'.
