Tony Lum mentioned he wanted to replace the diff lock switches 
with electronic vacuum valves, like for the a/c recirc flap.  This 
opens up the space for the diff locks.  Have you made any 
progress on that front, Tony?

I'll probably be exploring something along those lines, just to free 
up the extra DIN space.
