Expensive, but worth it IMO. Just ask Jim Mairs how bright they are.. he
couldn't stop playing with the high beams when he took a drive in my 4ktq w/
Cibie H4/H1's.

certainly better than the stock lights. Although, if you want to go REAL
cheap and get a half decent improvement in light quality you could just do a
homebrew relay/wire job with the stock lights. Half the degredation in
light quality on the 4k is due to poor wiring... The US reflectors still
suck though.

Actually you don't need to do that with either. The turn signals are in
your bumper.

Making your own wiring harness takes time. Is it high quality? Yeah, its
made pretty well. Could you do the same (or better) yourself? Depends on
how handy you are with a soldering iron and what kind of crimping tools you
have. I was too lazy to do it myself so I bought the Blau kit. I have
pictures of it on my website at

true. Most local law enforcement can't tell the difference though.
IMPORTANT: make sure your headlights are aimed propperly... they'll never
question the lights if they don't bother anybody on low beam.

it doesn't hurt to find a "friendly" inspection shop.. especially when you
delete things like decelleration valves and stuff turbo engines into cars
that never had them....
