the following applies to type 44's and may apply to 20v's (i'm sure someone
will confirm, shortly): should be able to find a bomb for around $250 (i've
seem 'em for less) and it shouldn't take more than 1 hr to replace. not a
tough job. just remember to pump the brakes 30 times (w/ car off) before
loosening hi pressure hose. i usually pinch the line to the bottom of
pentosin reservoir w/ a small vise grip to minimize fluid loss. new crush
washers are recommended but i never seem to have 'em around so i just reuse
the old ones. never had a problem!

Subject: bomb R&R cost ?
Hi all.
I am looking for 200 20V to buy and right now I am looking at one car
which needs some work to be done. One of the problems is bomb. Could
someone give me an estimation of my costs if I bring it to mechanic (to
be found) ? Sorry for such question but I need it pretty urgent.
Konstantin Bogach.
