Spare parts to carry for a Type 44?

Hmmm,
that about covers it I think. But what about...
A spare Hyd. Pump and Steering Rack and the ever
important...spare Climate control computer. You could just cary
a spare Door handle as well and maybe a spare window regulator
rather than the tape since you know it will fail. :-)
I know in my 4kq...I'll never go on a long winter trip again
without a spare Headlight Switch after having to splice wires to
get headlights at 5 degrees f. But thats not a large problem
on a type 44. BUT..if you have relayed headlamps, DONT FORGET
RELAYS>...BTDT....Grrr.
And I traded in my Aluminum and Plastic Jack for the old
style STEEL jack that has no plastic seat and is twice the
weight (ooo, 2 lbs) and twice the strength. Much nicer road
side repairs.
