It's certainly possible, but it will require major welding in the
floor. For some reason, Audi made different floors in the quattro and
non-quattro cars, so you just can't bolt on the quattro rear
suspension and drivetrain.. 

My advice would be to find a 5kq/5ktq in good shape and buy it. Those
cars don't cost much these days..

But then, if you are very good at welding (or know someone that is),
you can try a conversion, I know that it have been done, but be
prepared - lot of work!
