Tail light gremlins

        Ok, now that I've cleared out my inbox, I have time to deal with one of my many, MANY problems.
        My tail lights went out this evening, when my right turn signal was turned on.  At first the turn signal froze so that all the signal lights were locked on.  I tried the left turn signal and it was ok.  I tried the 4ways and they froze for ten seconds and then released and operated normally, or so I thought.  All my lights on the rear wouldn't turn on when the headlights were on.  My left signal still worked ok, but now ALL the lights on the right side, except the headlight, flashed with the turn signal including the frontside park light.
        Confused?  You bet, but I'm starting to get used to that.  I'm also starting to really miss my Jetta.
