Happy Holidays and a plea for help on the Hall-sensor no start.

After scouring through hundreds of archives I have been unable to track down
an answer.

86 4kq Problem: High speed cutout with a jumpy tach, occasional bad idle.

Replaced hall sensor, coil, cap, fuel relay. (Blau cheapo ign wires now way
out of spec after 6 months; lesson learned: GO Bosch.)

Took engine to tdc, reinserted distributor, no start. Tried all possible
rotational increments on distributor, nothing. Dist. cyl 1 matches mark, and
flywheel spot is marked "0".

Used Bentley to check HAll sensor outputs, all good. Check ign. module and
ECU in glove compartment. ECU numbers for resistance from Bentley do not
match pin locations on ECU harness, do give correct readings for other pins.
Bentley only gives the specs. for CISIIIE and 4cyl.

So, am I just off a bit on the distributor? It Bentley correct for the
non-turbo 5 cyl? Any BTDT?

At this point I'm R&Ring the whole damn ignition system.
