Actually something I thought of already (your stealing my ideas) but
xenonlights.com has a page taht details some stuff you talk about. They
actually sell a partially installed set up for like 8-9 hundred. This would
work also because you would use your H1 bulb for your high beam sense current
HID setups do not allow for HID Highbeams. If you have the money
xenonlights.com will take your housings and modify them to make the light
pattern correct for the HID style bulb (I think it is how deep the bulb is
placed and not actually ripping apart your new eurolights). They seriously
sound like one of the best companies for doing somethign like this and sense
they specialize in it I would guess they are pertty good. I hope I provided
some useful info.
