steering problem: need help!

I replaced leaking hose to pressure accumulator and return line hose
from the pump. Now I have problem while driving: turning left is a
little easier then turning right, when wheel returns from right I feel a
hit somewhere in steering (looks like in steering gear), sometimes after
turn (right) steering wheel tends to turn left and I have to exert force
to keep it straight. In general I feel that power assist in steering got
stronger. The following is description of what I did. Maybe I did
something wrong?

- drained fluid from reservoir
- with front wheels lifted turned wheel from left lock to right lock
several times to drained fluid from the rack
- took out 2 hoses (damper pipe with hose to PA and return line)
- replaced hoses with rebuild ones ($35 for 2 hoses! Wonderful job! I
saw how they do it and I doubt it will ever leak. I highly recommend
Trenton Brakes, Trenton, NJ)
- poured Pentosin 11S to the reservoir and started engine
- with front wheels suspended turned steering wheel from one lock to
another several times until I felt that it moves smoothly and with same
resistance when I turn left and right.

When I drove I had that problem. Fluid level is ok. One strange thing I
noticed, it seems to me (60% sure):
with motor idling I poured right level of pentosin. When I turned wheels
lock to lock I expected that I would need to add fluid as it will fill
the rack but I found that level of fluid in the reservoir got higher and
I had to suck some out.

Any ideas? Tomorrow it is going to get 16'' of snow. I need that car.
