AudiWorld.com Forums + Audifans.com Forums ?!

Aren't these two different approaches?  Audifans is a "private" e-mail list 
and AudiWorld is a "public" website forum.  They have different formats 
because they serve different purposes.  I see no advantage to Audifans and 
only the liklihood that its entire purpose and benefit to the subscribers 
would get lost.
