Stock 24V VR6 in a Golf!!! Now THAT'S sweet!!!
(IMHO, at least the 174 HP A3 GTi I've driven is just tooo smooth. It's
got tons of power, but it's so smooth and easy that it's kinda....boring.
My friends Corrado just felt more brutish for some reason....perhaps it
was the conical K&N and exhaust. May not have been any faster, but those
SOUNDS! The combination sounded so much like a Ferrari. No, really, it
did! It was an awesome car to take into tunnels and under highway
overpasses! (It was also really an awesome CSP autocross car).
