Cool. Do I just take that apart and clean it up or what? The deal is I'm
having hard starting and rough idle for the first minute or two after I
start up.
It'll start right away on the first key turn but die immediately. Then it
will start up again and idle very roughly for about a minute, then finally
rise to 1100 rpm then drop down to stay at 800rpm. I was told that I needed
to clean my ISV valve, but having no experience with such a valve, I thought
I consult the wisdom of the list.
After that all I need is that vacuum attachment. The sort of 'F" shaped
vacuum connector that attaches to two plastic hoses to the ISV valve. I
broke one of the connectors while replacing my oil breather hose thingy that
had collapsed.
Anyone have any ideas? I tried the dealership and came up empty.
TIA
