On 2 recent occasions I have followed Phil's sage advice and he is a genius.
When my URQ was bucking and cutting out at 4-5K rpm he suggested the air temp
sensor. Spot on!
A couple of weeks ago he suggested that my oversensitive enrichment screw was
indicative of a FD needing R&R. I was skeptical, but bought the kit from Ron
at TPC (part # supplied by Phil).
The verdict is in. There is life in WX motors at 2K rpm!! All this time I
have been sorting this car out, I always get a little closer, but not there,
and once in a while would get a taste of what things should be, but tonight I
felt what many of you have been privy to for a long time. WOW!!
I think injectors will make it perfect, as it has just this week started to
start hard when hot (left set for 5-20 minutes).
If anyone is in doubt, rebuild your fuel distributor. I found nothing
obvious, but now the mixture screw adjustment of as much as half turns gets
the desired results, and the car runs great! Drivability is fantastic!
Phil, I'm hoisting a pint in your honor as I write this. If you are ever in
Denver, I'm going _out of my way_ to see to it you enjoy your trip!
To complete the ticket, Frederick Smith for Vice President, and the list for
cabinet is long and distinguished (you know who you are).
Thank you Phil. Thank you list. WOW!

PS Now if someone can just tell me how to get my wife's 91 100 running.
