Autotech Quaife Differentials

Hmm.  AFAIK Autotech has been a Quaife distributor for many years.
Perhaps that relationship has gone sour for some reason, but I can't
imagine someone making a "cheap knock off" of something as sophisticated
and precision as a Quaife, or for that matter any similarly gear-based
torque-biasing differential (like Torsen).  There has got to be more to
the story than that.  I wonder.
