Is the weather changing as dramatically in other parts of the planet?
We're in the middle of a monsoon here in the UK. The flood waters in
many places (York, for instance) are higher than they've been for four
hundred years - many places are recording rainfall records being
blown completely away. This sure looks like climate change to me, and
it will have severe consequences on our economy. Many major roads and
railways are impassable - even houses on high ground are being
flooded because the storm sewer systems can't cope. Everywhere is
now so sodden that any new rain just runs straight off the surface.
If this keeps up for a month or two, I might have to change my tyre
preferences. Anyone do a webbed tread?
