Need secondary coolant pump!

the car will run w/o out it, but the turbo will no longer be protected from 
overheating when you shut off the car. Which is the one of the hottest 
times for the turbo, since no air moves over it to cool it. This can cause 
your turbo to seize, esp. if the you run boost before shutting down. Idling 
the engine a few mins. before will help by running coolant through the 
turbo. Also using Mobil1 full synthetic oil will help. I would definitely 
get it fixed though, b/c that was how it was designed, it will give you 
peace mind, and will make shutdowns no hassle.

You can easily get the same parts for a lower price than dealer. Try 
www.thepartsconnection.com or http://www.pap-parts.com/

if yer creative, you can prolly get a generic electric water pump to 
replace the OE type. I've seen some advertised for about $60 before. good luck.
