Hi Tom and Per!

AFAIK, the Treser Hunter was purely based on the Type85 (B2), check out
the pics on my site
->Special->special Audis->Treser->Hunter
and tell me what you think.

Yes and no. Walter Treser went down before he had the chance to
_improve_ the B4.
BUT: Someone must have bought his name and the _famous_ "1" at least for
a period of time.
There are VW Polos by Treser as late as 1997! They were converted to a
two passenger convertible/roadster type.
I have uploaded some pics to

Yes, this is a rigid hardtop. Not sure if it is retractable like the one
of the quattro Roadster, but I think so. The middle part of the roof can
be taken out, called "Targaroof" here, although I think only Porsche may
call them that way.
If anyone knows more on the (late) Treser cars and the way the name
Treser was used after the original company went down, _please_ tell me.
Any, really _any_ info is of use to me!

I will decide upon that if I see the pics *wink*
Don't forget: "Taste is a matter of taste!" ;)
