OK.  It was sent to the _envelope_ 'From:' address and not the _body_
'Reply-To:' address.  The former is munged - most RFC-compliant mailers
should take and use the latter.

I had this problem with Dan's mailman program - it too is non-compliant
and we had to manually fiddle my subscription.  Never had a problem with
majordomo.

On the other subject, exhaust back pressure cannot keep the exhaust
valves open because at the very minimum cylinder pressure will be equal
to exhaust pressure.  What it _can_ do is lift the head off the engine,
a fact exploited by Yugoslav partisans during the last war when they
rammed potatoes up the exhaust pipes of German tanks.  You'll notice
modern tanks have their exhausts behind large grills.
