OH S&%T! I stripped a head bolt... HELP!

Yes, these are pretty handy items. The friend I loaned MINE to a friend, and he said it can cut 3/16" steel plate.

If you were to use such a method, (to remove a stripped head bolt), be sure to keep the rest of the engine sealed from the CARBIDE dust that will be generated. Don't want that in the motor.

PS. I am on digest, and have not read ones following this one (#424), but I am sure that there is a certain British Audi mechanic snickering .......no...... wait...... GUFFAWING at the fact that a tool that "almost" fit was used in the removal of a head bolt.
