How Many '97 A8's were produced?

How many '97 A8's were produced? I'm thinking of buying one. What is the
normal lease for these cars? Three years? It seems you can get them pretty
cheap. Anybody know of ones had for less than $25,000?

If I do buy one, I'll have my 91 200q for sale for some lister.....it's a
great car even with 215K miles!
