Bought new quattro - value's

Yesterday, I took my mom to buy a new quattro to replace her aging 84 4kq.
After her 4kq she would only consider quattro (well maybe awd).
She bought a pearl white 90 90 20v sedan for $5,200. The car has 139k on it
and is in very good condition (even all the door handles work) and clearly
well cared
for. It has had a new timing belt and reported to have all other maintance.
The only problem seems to be an intake whistle which I have yet to look for.
Any specific things to look for on this car (common failures)?
This may seem a bit high compared to what I have seen these go for
elsewhere but the value's are sesonally high and this appears to be a high
value area.
Living in this area of what is reported to be the area of highest used
quatttro value's (Eastern Washington) with possibly higher value's in
western WA, I do not thik this is suprising. I thing this area has the best
combination for driving up used quattro prices. Very few problems with rust
(no salt), and a climate the rewards one for quattro ownership. My 84 4kq
has no rust and removing suspention bolts is generally
quite reasonable.
