Last factory overboost safety feature?

Hello All,
    Well,  I defeated my last factory overboost feature.  I blew up my
intercooler yesterday.  I knew it was just a matter of time...  Anyway,
what do most people do after this?  Replace the intercooler with a new
one?  Put the caps back on?  Also,  does anyone have a diagram and part
number for plumbing the Porsche bypass valve.  What about the adjustable
pop off valves that you see people advertising?
    I knew that the intercooler would eventually blow unless I strapped
it, so it comes as no suprise.  Now I can talk my wife into more parts
for her car!!
