Type 44 Outside Rear View Mirrors

I keep my passenger side mirrors adjusted so that I can see at least a
third of a car in the adjacent lane before I loose them in the inside
rearview mirror. I have to make a concerted effort moving to the right to
be able to see the side of the car in the outside mirror. I do the same on
the driver side: I have to put my head real close to the window in the
door to be able to see down the left side of the car in the exterior
mirror. I only change these alignments if I'm going to back up a trailer.
