No slow start

Along similar lines mine has just started to start instantly in the morning
as well. Now mine has new injectors so its not leakdown and it used to
start in about 1-2 seconds hot or cold. We know the ECU takes this time to
check all is OK so does this mean my MAC14 has become lazy or forgetful in
its old age !!!!
Kent, you describe the classic injector leakdown issue where by the extra
fuel helps on a cold start but hinders on a warm start. 50,000 miles is
young but I have paperwork that indicates a change for my car at 60,000 by
Audi and it needed them again at 134,000.

This is baffling. Normally I have to grind the starter for 8-10 seconds
before it will start. The last two times I've travelled (one week or more),
when I returned and started my '89 200 TQ, it started immediately (within
one or two rotations of the crankshaft). This morning, temperatures around
30F (-1C), it started immediately again.
My question to the list: what would cause this odd starting behavior?
The injectors were replaced about 50,000 miles ago.
Thanks,
