$3000 for a 93 100CS Quattro wagon must have meant it was wrecked,
auction or something funky. My 93 10CSQW with only 50k miles was totaled
this past summer and State Farm gave NADA retail (plus more $$ for low
milage) for a total of $16500 and I am in the southeast. My current 94
100CSQW is for sale and I have it for market price of $15,900.  Your
mechanic must have non traditional contact, or the seller was a sucker!
