A4 Winter Driving Question

I'm not familiar with your specific tire, but yesterday I drove my
200q20v on its summer tires. We've had several inches of wet snow and it
was packed to near ice. I went sideways once and did a 360 before I could
get back home and put on my winter tires. I couldn't believe how poorly
the specifically summer tires that worked so nicely all summer on that car
handled the slick. I've been driving quattros since 1990 (both 4K and 5K)
but I always ran Cooper Cobras on them year around. I'll never drive
strictly summer tires in any sort of winter circumstance again.
