Page 87.17 of Bentley has a drawing of the A/C belt tensioning system that
is impossible to describe with any meaning without the illustration. The
procedure requires loosening four bolts (succinctly designated as Bolts A,
B, C & the unlettered one on bracket D), adjusting the belt and then
retightening the bolts to different torques and in an order not the
reverse of the loosening. It's my understanding that failure to follow the
procedure results in stripping part of the adju$tment mechani$m.
