Air Bags and Red Lights

Hi All,

I noticed my air bag light is staying on longer
than normal (a couple minutes).  The sticker on
the visor says the life of the air bag is 10 years.
 My car is a 1990 Audi 100, so the air bag 
is over 10 years old.

First, does anyone plan on replacing their air
 bag(s) at 10 years?  If you've done this yourself,
do you have any tips, and where do you get the
best price on air bags?

Second has anyone solved the problem of an air
bag light staying on a long time?  My guess is
the capacitor they use for air bag power is getting
weak, but it could also be some extra resistance
in one of the connectors.  Any ideas?
