Rally pictures/ Michele Mouton

Hey all

I was surfing a bit on the net and found a group of nice quattro rally
photos from the early 80s with Michele Mouton behind the wheel.

And speaking of Michele Mouton, I just bought an issue of the German mag
"Auto Motor und Sport" yesterday. (Heft 24, 15.November)  There was a
nice article where AMS had a photosession and talk with Michele and
several nice shots of her driving her old S1 Sport quattro.
The subject: Finally, Michele's first entry in Rallye Monte Carlo in the
Audi S1. She didnt rally, only appeared for the photosession in
connection with the celebration of 20 years of the quattro. She told the
journalist: "I cant believe I still remember all and every detail" [of
the car].  I'll try to scan the pages for you to see, she is still one
smashing and lovely woman. The true Rally Goddess of Audi!

The article ends with a note on how many cars the factory team prepped
for rally: 103 total, 61 Urq, 22 Sports and 20 S1. Michele's significant
other, Frederic,  has bought one of the latter.
