1983 audi 5000 turbo gas help

I do not believe the 83 5000S turbo (type 43) has an intercooler, nor
does it have the "michelin man" hose that graces the 84 and later
5000 turbo (type 44) cars.

You should try and get a copy of the Bentley repair manual for your
car if you want to learn more about it and work on it yourself.
