5k tq ABS xshooting

Hi Doyt,
I don't want to disconnect ABS permanently considering that we have about
190 rainy days per year. A "brtttt" is better than the locked wheels, so I
learned to live with this minor nuisance. One day, when I have some extra
funds, I will do the repair.
Re: snow tires. I had Nokia Hakka mounted on my '85 Coupe GT (since sold)
for a one winter when I lived in Toronto. It was the least stressful, very
safe and totally white knuckles free winter, the best out of 15 winters I
spent in Toronto. Truly amazing tires. By the way, the Dunlops A60 that are
being discussed here last few days were the worst tires I ever had on my
5KTQ and they lasted only 40K miles. They were awful in the snow and I
wouldn't recommend them to anybody. On the other hand, the Pirelli P600 that
I ride on for the last three years, proved to be very good and very durable
tires, although they almost haven't seen snow. We have a "white stuff" here
in Vancouver maybe for one day in a winter so there is no need for snow
tires.
Regards,
Efraim
