I know what you mean.  On my Saturn, when I took off the 17" 
Kosei S6C's, and put the stocks back on, the acceleration, ride, 
and some aspects of the handling improved.  The tire grip went 
down.

I thought the same thing when I took the stocks off my '85 4ksq, 
and put my 17" TSW Revo's on it.  It doesn't run so I didn't drive it, 
but the wheels are way more heavier than the stock 14" R8's.  I'm 
sure there's a dramatic difference in driving personality.

Does anyone want to buy a set of one month old (road time) 
4x108, 17x7.5, TSW Revo's with 205/40 Road Hugger Rages?  The 
offset is correct for the 4kcsq, and they are hubcentric with 
centering rings.  I would like the best offer up to $1.2k.  They are 
silver, and I have pics.
