I know what you mean. On my Saturn, when I took off the 17"
Kosei S6C's, and put the stocks back on, the acceleration, ride,
and some aspects of the handling improved. The tire grip went
down.
I thought the same thing when I took the stocks off my '85 4ksq,
and put my 17" TSW Revo's on it. It doesn't run so I didn't drive it,
but the wheels are way more heavier than the stock 14" R8's. I'm
sure there's a dramatic difference in driving personality.
Does anyone want to buy a set of one month old (road time)
4x108, 17x7.5, TSW Revo's with 205/40 Road Hugger Rages? The
offset is correct for the 4kcsq, and they are hubcentric with
centering rings. I would like the best offer up to $1.2k. They are
silver, and I have pics.
Later,
Ken
