talking about weird problems....

Speaking of weird problems, my gas gauge (which at present decided it doesn't want to
work), was acting kinda funky one night. As I was driving home, it would slowly fall
to E (about a 10 second timing), then rapidly rise to full, then slowly descend to E
again, and quickly rise to full... It did this over and over again for about 20
minutes, until I shut the car off. Any ideas? Now the gauge just doesn't work at all.
