Some 4kq related questions

Taka,
IMHO, VW kept the pull-style diff-locks for utilitarian and economic
reasons. The QSW used the JT 2.2l engine with a type 016 (code AAU)
transmission with either an AAG or AMP code rear diff. My QSW has an AAG
diff. I believe the drivetrain to be identical for the most part to the
4KQ.
Concerning the clutch, there may be air in the system, the pedal bushing
could be tight, or the return spring could be jammed. VW says to use ATF
Dexron or Dexron II in the PS system.
