vapor lock ? 89 200tq

I had a 85 VW quantum that would start and drive great in the morning...
however once it got hot (it was july and i was in tx at the time) it wouldnt
start for at least 45 min if not longer. Turns out it was the fuel pump
relay on the back of the fuse panel. Very easy fix.
