Shocks for a Van [LAC]

I have the Edelbrock Eliminator IAS shocks on my 92 Suburban 1500. They
create a very roll resistant ride and transform the handling nicely.
BUT-- If I hit a bump in a sweeper turn --say on a highway-- the bump
steer is tremendous, and the rear steps out. Scares the sh-t out of my
wife.  I didn't have the Suburban long (bought it used) before I put the
shocks on so I don't know if this is a Suburban thing, but I wouldn't
buy them again.
