Doing the same on the 200. Bentley and ETKA both
mention ensuring to remove rust, add minimal grease,
ensure smooth slide, and remove any EXCESS grease from
input shaft. BTW, I assume you are talking about the
input shafts fit in the splined hole on the clutch
plate, as most input shafts are actually attached to
the trans. If the tight fit is into the pilot
bearing, DO NOT reinstall the trans., or you'll have
it out again shortly. BTDT, many moons ago.
