WEEEELLLL... This might, I mean WILL sound dumb to most of you, but
I didn't want to have to pull over and go to my trunk to change my music, I
wanted it close at hand. Unfortunately there is no way to fit it in my 4K S
Quattro (Audi Content) anywhere near the front seats unless it became the
proverbial eyesore. I ended up bolting it to the side of the center consol
in the passenger footwell where my girlfreinds left knee used to go.
Pros: Very Accessible, Keeps Girlfreinds left knee from interfering
with my fifth gear because I really really hate that (Standard drivers know
what I mean).
Cons: Very Visible (good for theft motivation), gets kicked alot,
disturbs the "FLOW" of my interior.
Sorry, that's the best I came up with, without cutting out part of
my center consol with the idea of fitting it inside there. Coinsidentally,
I couldn't find room for my amp in the trunk either, because that's where
the gas tank goes. The only place I could find with good proximity to
ground source was (Stupid place again) ON the rear shelf between my
speakers. I know, I know, Theives are looking for my car as we speak. I
figure that I live in Canada and as long as I don't keep beer in the car,
it's not enough motivation for them to break in.
