I've also heard about a problem where the registration on the switches
inside the wiper motor changes, causing the mispositioned parking. If the
wipers are sweeping the correct area this is what I would suspect is your
problem. No BTDT myself on this so I don't know exactly what happens, but I
hope this helps you get to the bottom of it!
